Cheat detected....

seems that iwnet have issued alot of bans on many accounts recently..when trying to join game "Cheat Detected" appears on screen..i guess there's nothing that can be done at this point.. just wait for black ops II..hopefully you guys havent made the mistake of buy all the map packs too.i could do with a refund!let me know if im not only one here. thx

this happened to me too! i had to go through activision support and they told me that VAC banned me, and steam isnt going to do anything about it

and i've never hacked mw3, just used FOV changer. only lurk here for Crossfire, Combat Arms and Minecraft hacks. thinking about contacting steam right now but i dont know how to get a hold of them. me and you got banned at the same time it seems. probably happened to many other people. need to figure out how to contact steam because i wanna play again

Can I ask what hacks you used it may be a good way of seeing what the detection process was looking for

literally the only thing i can even think of is about 2 days ago i joined a normal FFA match, all was good, we just started. nothing was abnormal, then i got the first kill and got like 187513na5 points or something, it was rediculous, and the match ended because i already got enough points to end the game. i checked the barracks after, and my points went from like 3 mil to 17 mil for that one kill. my mw1 psn got banned for something REALLY similar to that too. so honestly i want to talk with steam and have them tell me what i got banned for because this is bullshit.

edit: and points dont even matter to me anyways because the gun i killed him with was already gold and i was lv 80 (i dont prestige)

nah that wouldn't cause it. you are on a hack site, its ok you can admit it.

VAC only bans if it scans a detected hack running on your pc ... it doesnt just ban you cause it wants to

well... i contacted steam about it, doubt they'll do anything. i have a feeling i'll just end up doing what op suggested. sit back and wait for bo2 to release. if i get this happening to me on bo2 though, im gonna chew out steam's ass for it

How many used rank hack or stats hack?
