EDIT: Deleting Currentinfo.txt does by pass the error...
i went to vindictus folder deleted Currentinfo.txt, then start the game and went fine. Just dont know if that is the right to do. I cant confirm if that works becuase EU servers are down but i could get into the login page in the game.

It actually creates a new UpToDateInfo.dat.new file, rename it to UpToDateInfo.dat and replace your current one in your nexon folder along with your new hfs file. This works. I have tested and there is so much we can do now lol profit time :P

I converted the hfs to zip > unzipped its contents > edited the file > saved file > zipped it back up > reconverted to hfs > got no secondary checksum error msg from hfssign (means no need to use hfssign) so how do i get that dat file? and how am i getting the error

Place that file in the same folder as the hfs file you are editing. After you do all your changes to your hfs file, (Going from hfs to zip to hfs)
In the command prompt type "hfssign UpToDateInfo.dat [yourHFSFile].hfs" and you will get the new UpToDateInfo.dat file in that folder where your hfs file is.

Editing things like +10 to +15 will never work, they are server sided, so do not try to edit your stats, on your client it will show as though the stats have changed but those are stored server side so it won't have any effect. No problem, good luck!
