please help me a week ago i downlaoded thse tools and they worked fine all of them and i made some awesome mods but when i tried today it wouldnt start the program (not BA's fault cause icant start my hacks either) please any ideas how to fix this? (icant remember doing anything with my pc exept playing) it aslso doesnt help to re download
Combat Arms .REZ Editing Tutorial
heres what you do once you finished editing your stuff:
1) when you are done editing your skin in photoshop, save it. don't rename it. leave the name of the file alone. (i suggest you make backups of your whole combatarms/game folder so if you mess up you can just get the original file from the backup folder.)
2) when it is saved, use the dtxconverter and open the file(s) that you edited by click file => open... when you have opened all your edited files to the dtxconverter, click convert to nexon.
3) now that your files are converted back to nexon type dtx files, open the rezinject that you got from b1ackange1's website.
4) for the Rez File to Inject browse for the .rez file that you extracted the .dtx file that you edited from. for example: if i edited a desert eagle pistol, i got that from GUNS_T_PV_Pistol.rez in the combat arms folder. i would go to the combatarms/game folder and select GUNS_T_PV_Pistol.rez.
5) for the Files to Inject section, browse for the .dtx files that you edited and converted to nexon type.
6) click inject and go on combat arms to see what you did.
note: if you don't convert the .dtx files back to nexon type files with the dtxconverter, this will not work REMEMBER TO CONVERT EDITED FILES BACK TO NEXON TYPE >DTX FILES WITH DTXCONVERTER BEFORE INJECTING

OK im at a stump point here.Im using Gimp instead of photoshop,i heard there basically the same thing.Im at step 10 of your instructions,im new at this so please bare with me.Or if possible what edit program are you using?How exactly do you open the file and edit it.My OS is vista 64 bit home prem.I could not figure it out or how to access the file's i wanted to edit,please help me out,thanks.
Also where do i put the plugins for Gimp?

OK i got adobe photo shop cs4,gimp,and paint.Where exactly do i put the plug ins: msvcrtd.dll, msvcirtd.dll?
And where exactly do i put the: DTXFormat.8bi in the format folder.What is the name of the format folder?
and am i suppose to do something with the IMFLithDTX.dll or leave it alone?

The msv.dll's go in the Photoshop folder. No specific location.
Leave MFLithDTX.dll alone
Read the tut more closely if ur having trouble.
i put everything in to the photoshop folder but i get this error why?
could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document

Thats so awkward i tried putting it in Photoshop but it says "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."
