the dtxconvert works. all it does is convert nexon type files to lithtech type files. just click file => open folder(to open a folder) or file => open file(to open a file)
you can only open folders with the .dtx files and you can only open .dtx files.
make sure you extract the .dtx files not the .ltb files
only extract from files with the T in it. ex: GUNS_T_PV_Pistol.rez

in order for you to be able to open the .dtx files in photshop, you need to convert the files to lithtech type files.(you also need the .dtx file format stuff in order for photoshop to be able to open .dtx files)

When I try open DTXConvert, RezXtract, or RezInject nothing happens.

Please help,i got my photoshop off youtube,and i cant find the plugins in photoshop folder =(

does anything pop up when you try to open it? please give more info about what happens when you try to open the programs.

first you can try to redownload the programs

(you probably did this, but maybe you didn't)
if you downloaded a .rar file(it will have an icon of a stack of books) you have to unzip them with winrar or 7-zip. when you extract the .rar files you will be able to see a folder or an application. then you will be able to open or run the programs

it should be here: (unless you saved photoshop somewhere else)

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-ins\File Formats
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-ins\File Formats

if you saved photoshop somewhere else go to your Adobe Photoshop folder
and look for the Plug-ins folder

Does it matter if it's just a trial? What do you mean by sub-folder? Pm me if you can help. I'm using a Vista 64-bit. And I'm using the trail of photoshop Cs4 extended.

yeah im having a problen when i extract them they are already ltb files and once it was dtx files and my photoshop opened the dtx files but cant open the ltb files so i was thinking how do you convert litech to dtx because the dtxconvert doesnt work for that

photoshop can't open .ltb files. .ltb files are models not textures. .dtx files are textures. lithtech files are .dtx files. if you want to view .ltb files you will need another program.

the dtxconvert changes nexon type .dtx files to lithtech type .dtx files.
photoshop can only view .dtx files.
you get .dtx files from files with the T in them. ex: GUNS_T_PV_Pistol
you get .ltb files from files with the M in them. ex: GUNS_M_PV_Pistol

ok i did all u said but after i rename the file and did everything correctly i go ingame and sees no dam texture on my knife

any solutions?

please be more specific and list the steps that you did. that would help. im guessing that you:

1) converted your edited .dtx files back to nexon type files
2) injected the .dtx files into the correct .rez file
3) deleted the old .rez file and renamed the new .reznew file
