Combat Arms .REZ Editing Tutorial

when i try to Open any of the Following RezInject.exe , Rezextract it says, THe application has failed to Initialize property... PlZ HElp me

IDk if this happened to anyone else, but when i went to open the file up in DTXconverter, no files showed up. so i did this:

1. Go to combat arms folder and look for the thing u want to convert
2. Right click it > properties
3.Copy the name
4.go to DTX converter and file > open file > g oto the folder the file is in and paste the name.

hey mate im wondering can you use photo shop elements 6 to edit the .dtx file caus mine wont let it work iv done this toutorial up too the edit bit

BIG PROBLEM

when i try to use RezInject, it just loads as normal but when i click ADD,
and select a file i get a error.
Someone help me?

i also tried to add unedited files. they also dont work. so Rezinject isnt working for me. Hope someone comes with solution

Hello fellow MPGH members.

Okay so ive taken the time to read this step by step guid! But the thing that i am trying to change is the UI_SND.rez which contains the sounds what i am after to alter.

here is what i'm trying to alter all MP# format once extracted with rezextract.exe [HEADSHOT] [DOUBLEKILL] [MULTIKILL] [ULTRAKILL][FANTASTIC] [UNBELIEVABLE].

Here are the MP3 sounds i have to replace them with i want to use the quake sounds which i currently have.

So the problem im facing and can't get passed is turning the EXTRACTED UI_SND folder Back to the Original UI_SND.rez to place back into the ca folder with my modified sounds.


So as you can tell by reading this i am really stuck at this point but not giving up.

dude i download the files (the plugins and rezinject) and when i open them they downloaded wrong because when i open them they just like fail and don't open.

Hi, this is very useful but i want the 3d's of the guns for modding another game... yes, the fabulous L96A1 Arctic Wolf, i need to extract it but this programs only allows you to change it... not copy it, man I really need this
